3. Nature of the website: information, not advertising

This website provides information within the framework that Turkish medical professional law (Law No. 1219, the Regulation on Medical Deontology and the regulations of the Ministry of Health) allows doctors. It contains no patient reviews, no before-and-after images, no prices or promotions, no promises of success rates and no comparisons with other doctors or institutions. Titles and career details are supported by documents.

No fees are stated on this website; the fees for examination and treatment are governed by the lawful tariffs of the treating institution.

4. Requests from abroad

Patients from abroad are examined and treated at Kavacık Medikal Sağlık Hizmetleri ve Ürünleri Ticaret ve Sanayi A.Ş. (Medistate Kavacık Hastanesi). Travel, accommodation, transfers and interpreting services are neither offered nor arranged through this website or by Prof. Dr. Emin Ersoy; if needed, the hospital's international patient department can provide information. A telephone or video information call before the examination is for general information only; it is neither a medical assessment nor a remote consultation.

5. No doctor-patient relationship

Using the website, submitting the form or sending an email or message does not create a doctor-patient relationship. That relationship begins only with an examination in person (or a remote examination that is permitted by law). Replies given before the examination are general information.

6. Results

The results of obesity and metabolic surgery vary from person to person; they depend on factors including BMI, related conditions, age, diet, physical activity and adherence to follow-up care. This website gives no guarantee of any result, and no such guarantee is possible. Every surgical procedure carries risks; your individual risks are explained in the informed consent discussion before the procedure.

Figures and statistics taken from the medical literature are given with their source, relate to populations and do not mean that they will apply to you.

7. Your obligations as a user

When using the website, you agree to

  • give accurate information in the forms,
  • enter information about another person only after informing them and obtaining their consent,
  • not do anything that could damage or overload the website or get around its security, and not use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to collect content,
  • not make requests under a false name or on behalf of someone else without authority.

You are responsible for any damage and third-party claims arising from a breach of these obligations.

The text, images, videos, graphics, the pre-assessment tool, software, design and database of this website are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights, including under Turkish Law No. 5846 on Intellectual and Artistic Works and Law No. 6769 on Industrial Property. These terms are governed by Turkish law; the courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul (Anatolia) have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you are habitually resident, and your right to bring proceedings in the courts of that country. In Turkey, the right to apply to consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts is unaffected.
